Intravenous Venipuncture is the process of inserting a needle and catheter into a vein in the arm. IV's are used to infuse medications and provide hydration. IV Technicians can work almost anywhere from clinics and medical spas to hospitals and labs. If you are interested in getting into healthcare without spending years in school, this course may be the perfect fit for you. The IV Technician course consists of both In-person and Hands-on instruction. A high school diploma or an equivalent GED is recommended to enroll in the In-Person IV Technician Course. This includes full-time experience practicing Venipuncture as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Registered Nurse, LPN, NP, PA, MD, Dental Hygienist, Dentist, EMT, Paramedic, or Firefighter.
The In-Person IV Technician Training is designed to work with your schedule by offering a one-day-only 4-hour comprehensive Hands-on training class.
Must show proof of certification or license/proof of employment.
STUDENTS NEED TO REGISTER AND PAY 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE START DATE.
